What are the timings for the sports day?
The sports are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM after the Opening ceremony.
Is there parking available at the venue?
No, parking is not available onsite. However, a shuttle service will be provided from Bhawan, partnered hotels, and the Mt. Pleasant GO Station.
What attire should participants wear for the event?
Participants should wear outdoor shoes and comfortable clothing. It’s also advisable to bring a light jacket as it can get chilly.
Do participants need to bring their own sports equipment?
- All necessary equipment will be provided.
- However, participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment, such as rackets, paddles, bats, and balls.
- NOTE: Metal cleats are prohibited.
- For cricket, pads are not needed as it will be tennis ball cricket.
- Shin pads are highly recommended for those playing soccer.
Will there be any refreshments available?
Yes, Langar and refreshment stations will be available for all participants. Additionally, food trucks will be present where food can be purchased.
What safety precautions are in place?
- Referees will be present to ensure all safety rules are adhered to.
- First aid and medical teams will be on-site for any emergencies.
- Sewadal and volunteers will set up the perimeter, and the playing areas will be clearly marked with pylons.
- Sewadal and volunteers will also be present to guide attendees for safe movement and viewing.
Where will the sports be played?
- All sports will be played outdoors, either on grass or on a paved area with clear markings.
- Unfortunately, there are no indoor facilities available at the venue.
Will there be a map and schedule for the event?
A detailed map and schedule will be provided closer to the date.
Can spectators attend the sports day?
Yes, spectators are highly encouraged to attend and support. However, they must ensure that they do not interfere with the field of play.
Are there specific categories based on age and skills?
- Yes, Badminton and Table Tennis will have separate divisions for males and females.
- All other sports will be in a co-ed format to promote inclusivity and diversity
- Additionally, there will be separate sports events for NKS participants aged 10-14 years.

Are there group discount codes for hotels?
Yes SNM has negotiated rates with multiple hotels which are being referred to as Partner Hotels.

Yes, all partner hotels are within 5 miles of the event and Bhawan.
Is there any car rental discount code available for NYS?
Yes, rental car discount codes are available and you can find them at https://events.nirankari.org/en/transportation/

Is transportation being provided from the airport?
Yes transportation shall be provided from Airport to Partner Hotels
Is transportation being provided from partner hotels to the event venue?
Yes, transportation is available from partner hotels to the event venue.
CHILD CARE
Is there childcare available at NYS?
For NYS participants, Child Care/Creche facility is available. It is important for NYS attendees to make sure they include their child’s information in their submissions.
What is the age group for child care/crèche?
The age group for Child Care and Crèche is 5-9 years old where children’s activities will be available. It is *required* that one of the two parents stays with their child in the Child care area.
Is there childcare available for children in the 0-4 year age group?
At NYS space shall be available for one of the parents to supervise their children in the age group of 0-4 years old.
Do I need to register for kids below the age of 10?
Children below the age of 10 who are accompanying NYS participants do not need to register. However, parents/guardians are requested to include children in their registration so the proper arrangements can be made for the children for Cretche/Child care.
Do both parents register their child(ren) for child care/creche facility?
No, one parent should do this to avoid duplication.
SAINTS FROM OUTSIDE NORTH AMERICA
Can the NYS team help me with visa and sponsorship papers?
No, all delegates are responsible for their own Visa and immigration paperwork.
What are the lodging arrangements for attendees from outside North America?
All attendees are responsible for making their own lodging and boarding arrangements. Please visit https://events.nirankari.org/home/hotels/ for a list of Partner Hotels and to get the hotel at a discounted rate.
NYS REGISTRATION
How do I register for NYS?
At this point, registration for NYS North America has closed.
Who needs to Register?
All NYS or NKS participants in the age group of 10-50 must complete the registration.
Can I include my family members in my registration? If so, will we receive unique QR codes for each member or one for the whole family?
At this point in time registration is only open for NYS/NKS and each member joining for NYS/NKS needs to register individually
Can I re-use the email address to register others in my family?
Yes, you can. However, you cannot re-use the combination email address, Name and Date Of Birth for other registrations.
How do I get a QR code that is required to enter the NYS Premises? And is there a way to recover if I lose it?
Once the registration is complete and submitted, you will receive an email to the email address you provided. This email will contain your unique QR code that you will need to enter the NYS. It will also contain a link to edit your registration should any of the information provided previously need to be changed.
However, if you lose the email or QR code for any reason then you connect with your branch SPOC to recover it. You can also reach out to [email protected].
Please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive email.
Should I register before I have made travel & hotel arrangements?
Yes, you are encouraged to register as soon as you can so the NYS can start planning accordingly. You can always add/modify your information later.
Can I edit the information provided in my registration earlier? If so, how and is there a limit to how many times I can do that?
Yes, you can change your information provided in the registration form. You can do so by using the link you will receive upon first-time registration. You can make changes any number of times you would like. You are requested and encouraged to keep your information updated and correct so that you will receive the best service possible.
Can I participate in more than one game?
Yes, you can. You will be asked to provide three game preferences. If there is no schedule conflicts and max number of participant conflicts then you can participate in more than one game.
I have not received the email after registration

If you do not see your email in your spam folder, your SPOC should be able to provide you with the edit link for your profile. You can click on the edit link , make some updates and that would regenerate the email
How are registration T-Shirt sizes measured on the form
Registration sizes are measured half sizes, Refer to the measurement chart at https://www.pegasusoriginals.com/sizing.html
But you can refer to overall sizes using https://www.allriot.com/cool-political-tshirts-men-women-size-chart.
I have my parents visiting from India who will be traveling with me for NYS. Can I register them as members of my branch?
Yes, your parents or family members traveling with you on the same itinerary can be considered members of your branch.
NA SAMAGAM REGISTRATION
How do I register for North America Samagam?
North America Samagam Registration has closed at this point
This registration is for anyone 51+. Anyone already registered for NYS/NKS should not be using this registration form.
Who needs to register for NA Samagam?
Everyone joining NA samagam must register.
Can I include my family members in my registration? If so, will we receive a unique id for each member or one for the whole family?
Yes, you can include anyone 51+ on your registration form.
Only one Unique ID is generated per family when registering multiple members on the same registration.
Should I register before I have made travel & hotel arrangements?
You are encouraged to register as soon as possible so the team can start planning accordingly. You can always add/modify your information later.

Your age on the event’s first date of NYS (September 1, 2023) is used. For example, If your age is 51 years as of Sep 1, you will be able to enter the registration form
I am less than 50 years old and not attending NYS, how do I register for Samagam?
Current NA Samagam registration does not allow for registrations for anyone below 50. If you are in this category, please send an email to [email protected]

NYS REGISTRATION ELIGIBILITY
What is the age cut-off on the registration form for NYS participants?
Youth in the age group of 15 to 50 can register for NYS. NYS participants from the age of 10 to 14 can also register for Nirankari Kids Symposium (NKS).
How is age calculated for the NYS event?
Your age on the first date (September 1, 2023) of the event is used.
For example; If your age is 50 years and 300 days as of Sep 1, you will be considered 50 years old (not 51 just yet).
If you are 51 years on Sep 1, 2023, then you cannot register for NYS.
Do I need to register if I am outside the NYS age limit? I will be attending but not participating in the NYS.
At this point in time registration is only open for NYS and NKS. In future registration shall also open for Samagam attendees.
