What is a Samagam (Spiritual Convention)?

The Sant Nirankari Mission organizes Samagams worldwide, which are large gatherings where individuals come together to deepen their understanding of spirituality, cultivate human values, and expand their capacity to share love with the world. Such events also attract those who wish to learn more about the Knowledge of God (Brahm Gyan), which the Mission offers.

Samagams will be taking place in numerous locations across North America, Europe, and the UK from June 19, 2026 to August 9, 2026. Each Samagam will be blessed by Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, who is the spiritual leader of the Sant Nirankari Mission. Satguru Mata Ji will be sharing a profound message of love, peace and oneness as she guides all present to introspect and deepen their "journey within".

The overarching theme of this series is Aatm Manthan, the Journey Within. Through wisdom talks, songs, poetry, and multimedia art, the Journey Within is towards our essential and enduring nature. It is the harmonizing of thoughts, behavior, and intentions to rediscover our inner stability and joy.

The Samagams are completely free of charge to attend at all locations. This includes access to the main proceedings, the exhibition, and the vegetarian meals and refreshments provided.

We welcome attendees of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. However, the main proceedings can be 2 hours in length and require attendees to sit reasonably quietly, to not disrupt the experience for others.

Depending on the location of the Samagam, proceedings will be conducted in English, German, French, Italian, or Spanish. Additionally, languages from India, such as Hindi, Punjabi, Sindhi, Marathi, and Gujarati will be used. Rest assured, large LED screens with subtitles will offer a running translation, wherever the local population may need support to follow any particular presentation. Please ask at the information desk for headsets, which may be available in some locations, that offer live audio translations and support with hearing impairments.

The Samagams will feature a publications booth and information desk. A variety of souvenirs, photographs, and memorabilia will be available for purchase on a not-for-profit basis.

The Knowledge of God (Brahm Gyan) is an intuitive and deeply personal experience of divinity, regarded by the Sant Nirankari Mission as the supreme purpose of human life. You may register to join a “Knowledge of God” session upon arrival or by emailing [email protected] in advance. Please be assured that we do not try to convert anyone’s faith or religious convictions. The Sant Nirankari Mission is a spiritual movement, and the Knowledge of God is a sublime gift that Satguru Mata Ji offers freely to anyone who seeks it. Will the Sant Nirankari Mission provide accommodation for attendees and delegates?

Unfortunately, the Mission is not in a position to provide accommodation. Please book your own hotels or guesthouses. The local volunteer team has provided a list of recommended accommodations near the venue, which may be booked independently. For options, visit: https://events.nirankari.org/

We are sorry to say the Mission will not be in a position to provide transportation. Attendees and delegates are advised to use local transport options such as rental cars, taxis, buses, or trains. For more information on the Festival of Oneness locations, visit: https://events.nirankari.org

Visitors from overseas or adjoining countries are kindly requested to check requirements as per the passport and nationality they hold. The Mission is not in a position to arrange or advise on visa requirements or supply sponsorship letters/ invitation letters in support of visa applications.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

Will food and refreshments be available during the Samagam (Spiritual Convention)?

A free vegetarian community meal, known as ‘langar’ will be served to all attendees following the main proceedings. This is prepared and served by volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Mission in the spirit of ‘seva’ (selfless service). Complimentary water will also be available, at various distribution points. If you have specific dietary requirements, we suggest bringing your own packed meal, as we may not be able to accommodate all needs. Unfortunately we cannot ensure an environment free of nut allergens.

  • Bring any personal items you may need, such as medication.
  • Dress appropriately, considering the weather.
  • There's no need to cover your head or remove your shoes.
  • Please take care of your personal belongings, as the Mission cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.
